As a photographer in Raleigh, North Carolina, I love setting aside time for creative projects. While my passion is capturing senior portraits and working as a Raleigh teen photographer, every now and then, I like to bring a vision to life just for fun. And this one? It was a long time coming!
The One Where a Creative Vision Finally Happened
If you know me, you know that Friends is my absolute favorite show. I rewatch all the seasons at least once a year—it’s my go-to background show while I’m editing, and I can quote way too many episodes! So, of course, I’ve been dreaming of a Friends-inspired photo shoot for months.
But as with any big idea, it took a lot of planning, coordination, and some unexpected obstacles. Finding the perfect location was key, and let’s just say… things didn’t go as planned. But sometimes, obstacles are there for a reason. The backup plan? It turned out even better than the original!
The One Where the Teens Understood the Assignment
When everything finally came together, these incredible teens completely understood the assignment. They showed up with the best attitudes, ready to have fun, and we laughed the entire time. That’s what makes shoots like this so special—when the energy is high, the friendships are real, and the creativity flows naturally.
As a Raleigh senior photographer, I know how important it is to capture moments that feel authentic. This shoot wasn’t just about recreating an iconic look—it was about celebrating friendships, confidence, and personality. And let’s be real… getting to check this off my creative bucket list made it all the more special!
