Hey there! It's nice to meet you! I am a wife and mother of two young adults. Pouring into teens is at the core of who I am. I feel called to work with teens and help them realize how truly special and beautiful/handsome they really are! And I absolutely love what I do.
Just a few things you need to know about me -
Know that I am there with you from the very beginning of planning your senior session and I 100% care about creating a special session just for you! I am also very much of a cut up and love to joke around with my clients. And if you are a fan of "Friends" TV show like I am, or "The Office" I'm sure something will happen that we can relate to one of those episodes. I can't even tell you how many times I have watched all of the seasons of "Friends" - that is my all time favorite show. You can usually find me editing images with an episode of "Friends" playing in the background and I can quote almost all of the episodes LOL.
As for my photography style, I strive for REAL COLOR and very life like. I want to create beautiful portraits to treasure forever with your senior being the focus.
I actually have a Computer Science degree and grew up in Virginia. After working in the software development area for over 15 years I took a leap of faith and quit my job to work on my passion of photography. I have studied and worked hard to learn the perfect style of photography that showcases my clients with their true personality. I want my client's eyes to shine through in their images. I use off camera flash to make sure my clients are in great light while also capturing the color of the sky behind them. It's not just the perfect lighting and location that creates the most amazing portraits. My personality talking and joking with my clients allows them to be their true self so I can capture their real smile that their parents want to see displayed in their house.
It's so hard as a parent to realize your sweet little children are growing up into young adults. We want to savor these moments forever. We want to savor the laughter and REAL smiles. I don't care. if we have to tell poop jokes with the boys to get real smiles. I mean you know I am right when I say grown men still laugh at poop jokes - if it makes them laugh and smile and relax it is worth it - whatever it takes for them to break the seriousness and let their true self shine.
As your go-to Raleigh photographer, I am here to guide you through the process and make sure we pick the perfect location for their session and line up all of the details. One of the advantages of booking their NC senior session with me is personalized styling including access to my client closet. I will also guide them with tips from start to finish to make everything run smoothly.
