Each year with the senior model team, we take a weekend trip to right outside of Wilmington NC to Kure beach – Ft. Fisher. These sessions are an exclusive part of the model team experience. Offering a chance to capture beautiful, sun-soaked memories in stunning locations. Watching the sun dip below the horizon while our team shines in the golden hour glow is always a magical moment. It’s easy to see why these sessions are a favorite. Ft. Fisher landscape is very unique and a gorgeous backdrop for senior photography.

The senior model team gets to vote on where they want to go and every year the place picked is near Wilmington NC at Kure Beach – Ft Fisher area. This is a short drive from Carolina beach and the Wilmington area.

One of the most amazing things I hear from moms on the model team is how much their child’s confidence has grown throughout the year. From the first session to the last, I see each senior come out of their shell, find their voice, and truly shine. Being part of the model team is a journey, and watching these teens grow in self-assurance and embrace their unique style is what makes this experience so special.

Wilmington, NC is just a short drive from Raleigh NC, about 2 hours and just a little bit farther to reach Ft. Fisher. This is close enough to make it into a day trip if necessary but also a fun way to add to your vacation.
