Fall minis hit a little different this year… in the very best way. As a Raleigh photographer, I’m always dreaming up creative, meaningful experiences that make senior year unforgettable.
Every year, I’m looking for new ways to make senior year feel extra special for my girls — experiences that go beyond photos. I want them to walk away with memories they’ll talk about long after graduation day has passed.
And apparently… we are all obsessed with Highland cows.
The Search for the Perfect Fall Mini Location
So of course, I went on a mission.
I searched.
I scouted.
And I found the perfect Highland cow farm for our fall minis — not once, but twice.
From the moment we arrived, I knew this location was something special. Golden light, cool fall air, and the fluffiest, most adorable cows you could imagine. Truly a dream setting.

Both visits to the farm were pure joy.
The girls laughed, explored, and soaked in the experience together. There was that sweet mix of excitement and calm that only fall brings — the kind that makes everything feel slower and more meaningful.
And those Highland cows? They completely stole the show.
Warm colors. Wide open fields. Soft autumn tones.
The perfect backdrop for Raleigh, North Carolina senior portraits that feel natural, fun, and full of personality.

As a Raleigh photographer and North Carolina senior photographer, moments like this are exactly why I love what I do. I want my seniors to feel celebrated, seen, and genuinely special throughout their entire senior year.
That’s the heart behind my senior team — creating unforgettable experiences that enhance their year in the most meaningful way.
This farm was the perfect place to do just that.
Why Fall Minis Will Always Be a Favorite
Fall minis will always be one of my favorite parts of the year.
But this year?
These girls.
This team.
This location.
It all came together in the most magical way.
I’m so grateful for the 2026 Senior Team and all the memories we’re already creating together — and we’re just getting started.
