I know this didn't happen over night, but it feels like it happened suddenly that my little kids grew up. I can't wrap my head around how fast they've grown. I'm at pure disbelief that my oldest graduated in 2022 and my youngest will graduate in 2024. I was and still am in your shoes.

Dear Parent of a high school Senior,
Welcome to the end of an Era. Senior year is so full of emotion and excitement. I can't even count how many times I have cried during my kid's senior year. And it's crazy how something small will trigger tears. And man those Facebook memories that pop up out of the blue from 8-10 years ago, sends a flood of memories into my day.
We want the best for our kids, and for them to make the best decisions. But at the same time we want this time to slow down and savor all of these lasts events that we will encounter. We want to remember their last first day of high school, their last prom, cap & gown senior pictures, their last sport event and everything in between. It's the end of an amazing chapter but the start of a new adventure for them and us, but also an adjustment as we learn to navigate this new territory.
I 100% understand! With everything happening during senior year, I want to take this stress off of your plate. I will be there with you to discuss and pick the perfect location and outfits for your NC senior portraits. As a Raleigh photographer, I am in all of the details and have many favorite locations around the Raleigh area. I pick locations that are not overly crowded and especially for the senior that doesn't want to be the center of attention. I want the senior to be relaxed and comfortable so that they will have the absolute best time. I am here to create magical memories customized to each senior!

Hey there, I'm Jenn. Here is my story.

As my daughter's senior year approached I realized that all of these last events were going to quickly pass. My stress level was increasing as I started thinking about how little time was left of her living under our roof. I didn't want to forget how she looked as a teenager - how she looked when she broke into laughter, the sparkle in her eyes.
These moments captured are so special, once she is off on her own I will have these portraits to look at daily. So no matter if she isn't living under our roof - I will still be able to see her beautiful face and look at her while I pray for her.
I am going through all of this again with my son. Of course boys are different, he doesn't want all of the portraits that she did. But regardless he will be celebrated and portraits hung so I can see his handsome face daily while I pray for him.
It's so hard as a parent to realize your sweet little children are growing up into young adults. We want to savor these moments forever. We want to savor the laughter and REAL smiles. I don't care. if we have to tell poop jokes with the boys to get real smiles. I mean you know I am right when I say grown men still laugh at poop jokes - if it makes them laugh and smile and relax it is worth it - whatever it takes for them to break the seriousness and let their true self shine.
